REVERE ALUMINUM FOIL CONTAINER RIM STYLES

 

Specify this rim construction when you want to assure extra strength and rigidity to the container and provide greater protection for the product. This type rim adds a touch of elegance to the container and is especially recommended when the container is used as a serving dish. You can use automatic packaging equipment and a variety of lids with the Full Curl Rim, including flat foil hoods, snap-on plastic covers, overwraps and cartons.

With this type rim construction, you can use high-speed atuomatic equipment to cover the containers. The cover actually provides additional strength to the package when the vertical flange is crimped down over the cover. A variety of covers and cover materials may be used. Consult a Revere package engineer for specific recommendations.

This rim construction uses a curled flange on the four sides of a rectangular container, plus a vertical flange for the corners. The result is a strong, attractive package which is easy to open.

 

If container has Full Curl Rim, Raised Full Curl Rim or Semi Curl Rim, measure from container bottom to top of rim.

If container has Interrupted Vertical Curl Flange, Raw Edge Rim, Vertical Flange with either Raw Edge or Hemmed Edge, measure from container bottom to ledge.
